  1. Synopsis:
  2.    set display [on|off|toggle]

  4. Description:
  5.    When turned off, this setting will cause the client to suppress all
  6.    messages from being displayed (though it can still act on them
  7.    internally.  However, ECHO can still be used to explicitly print
  8.    messages to the display.

  13. Other Notes:
  14.    This setting is automatically turned off while a script file is being
  15.    loaded, including the .ircrc file.  It is turned on again when the
  16.    file finishes loading.  This can be overridden by explicitly setting
  17.    DISPLAY on inside the loaded scripts.
